#54 – Shalom Nyandiko-Joseph, 13 year old actress and aspiring singer, born in Botswana of Kenyan parents and lives in South Africa

This Episode features young Ms. Shalom Nyandiko-Joseph from Secunda, South Africa. She is of Kenyan parents and has lived in Botswana where she was born. She has also spent time in the UK and visited Morocco and Wales. Did we mention she is still just 13.

In this episode we talk about Shalom’s hopes and dreams. She takes us through the process she follows when she has an audition, what it meant to share a platform with an actor from Game of Thrones. She speaks Kiswahili, English and Afrikaans and has had to learn different African accents for different roles.
